If you have been thinking about cutting the cord, there is a good chance that you have heard of something called IPTV at one point or another. If you are anything like me, maybe you have idly wondered what IPTV is, how much it costs, whether it is worth it, what it all entails, etc., but never really looked into it too seriously. Until now, of course. With so many different ways to cut the cord available these days – so many services, software, hardware, etc. – it can be a little bit overwhelming to try and parse through each and every option out there.
Lucky for you, though, I already did the hard work for you. And I have returned to tell you everything there is to know about IPTV – more specifically, today I am here to tell you everything that there is to know about one of the best IPTV services on the market today, iView HD.
Maybe you are reading this and thinking to yourself, ‘what the hell does it mean to cut the cord? … don’t I need cords in order to watch TV? Why on earth would I ever want to cut them?’ First of all, ‘cutting the cord’ does not refer to a physical act. The phrase, rather, is a metaphorical one, meant to imply the many ways in which we can cut ties with traditional cable and satellite TV providers in today’s day and age. Thanks to the number of free and premium streaming services available today, cable TV is (I’m gonna go ahead and say it) obsolete!
So, we cut the cord. Why pay upwards of $150 each month on something that you don’t need? If we’re frank, how often do you really watch live cable TV anyway? Compare that with how often you watch Netflix, Hulu. Amazon Prime Video, etc. Do you think that it’s worth it to continue paying for cable?
Well, maybe you do. There are, after all, tons of shows and live events (such as sports) that you would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere on the web. Maybe you have come to the conclusion that it is worth it to pay for the convenience that live cable TV provides. That is totally fine! However, I would like you to be aware of the fact that you do not need to pay nearly as much for live TV as you are if you are still using a traditional cable box!
Hence, cutting the cord. Forget the cable provider! Thanks to live TV streaming services like Hulu TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV, etc., you can access all of the channels that you know and love (including the local ones) for a fraction of the price. But maybe you need an even cheaper alternative, something that offers a better deal, something that is a little more convenient.
Internet Protocol Television (IPTV for short) is a great alternative to live cable TV streaming services. Not only do IPTV services offer just about every channel you could hope for, but they also allow you to access your own downloaded and prerecorded content, no matter where on earth you happen to be. So long as you have an internet connection, with an IPTV, you can watch all of your favorite live cable TV networks, stream your favorite content on-demand, and keep up with your favorite live sports, all for one fair price.
Still, though, once you have decided that an IPTV might be for you, it can be difficult to browse all of the options and figure out which IPTV is the right one for your personal needs. Some, for instance, are geared more towards businesses; others are great for individuals or families. The IPTV you choose, of course, should be the one that best meets your needs.
That being said, few IPTVs come close to providing the range (and quality) of services of iView HD. As one of the most critically acclaimed IPTV services on the market today (with one of the largest selections of live cable TV channels available on their premium service), you cannot go wrong with this one. Perfect for an individual or a family, iView HD is an IPTV service that everyone must know about before making a decision on which one to subscribe to.
So, without further ado, let us dive in and take a closer look at everything that iView HD has to offer, how well it is designed, how reliable the service is, how much it costs, and how it stacks up against the competition.
Table of Contents
Design
The layout of iView HD is very stripped down and barebones. This is, in my opinion, the way that an IPTV should look. iView HD offers a very immersive user experience without becoming too cluttered or difficult to navigate. The design, however, does differ slightly depending on what kind of device you are using to access it. On a smart TV, for instance, you will be greeted by enormous icons, neatly organizing your content by “live,” “VOD,” or “Rec.” This makes it easy and convenient to quickly access all of the kinds of content available on your IPTV.
From there, you’ll find a very intuitive and neatly organized menu. Further filter your movies, TV shows, channels, or media content by using the convenient menu bar that spans the left-hand side of the screen. To the right, browse by a thumbnail (not entirely unlike the layout of Netflix or Hulu). I will go as far as to say, though. That I think the layout of iView HD is much more intuitive, actually than that of many premium streaming services like Hulu. It is much more logical and makes things so much easier to find.
When it comes to live TV, simply and quickly channel surf just like you always have, using either your TV remote or your fingertips if you are on a mobile device. It has never been easier to watch any and everything ever before.
Content and Features
This is where iView HD becomes truly astounding in all of the features that it offers. Not only will you likely be shocked by the number of features available to you via iView HD’s premium subscription, but the quality, too, is top-notch. iView HD is your key to the world of live and on-demand TV, movies, and sporting events. Earlier, I briefly touched upon why someone might prefer an IPTV service like iView HD over a premium streaming live TV services such as Sling TV or Hulu Live. Well, what I am about to tell you should make that abundantly clear. And I think that choosing iView HD will become a no-brainer. With iView HD, you can expect over 1,000 live cable TV channels. No need to check your eyes, you read that right … One thousand live TV channels. That means that the odds of you being able to watch whatever it is that you were planning to watch, no matter where on earth you happen to be, is very high.
That is not all that iView HD has to offer, though. Its Video On Demand offering is also quite impressive. With over 3,000 of the latest hit movies, TV series, and documentaries, you might even be able to go ahead and cancel that Netflix subscription after all. In the end, I believe that iView HD (although more expensive than some of the alternative cord-cutting methods) could end up saving you money – so long as you are willing to consolidate where appropriate!
Three thousand movies and TV shows. 1,000 live TV channels. Live sporting events galore. Where can you go wrong with iView HD? The more I learn about this IPTV service, the better it seems to get!
Desktop and Mobile Experience
iView HD is accessible on most popular smart TV brands, Fire Stick, Enigma, Open Box, Dream Box, Android Box, Android devices, among others. The only real bummer regarding iView HD is the fact that it is not available on iOS devices. However, to be fair, an IPTV that is compatible with iOS is relatively rare. Still, though, Apple users have to miss out on the mobile experience of iView HD entirely, unfortunately.
That being said, other than iOS devices, iView HD is one of the most widely accessible IPTV services there is. You should have no issue accessing your contact on any smart TV.
Pricing and Plans
iView HD offers a few different pricing options, but two premium tiers of service: iView and iView Plus. The latter offers live sports packages, a DVR function, and 7-day catchup. The pricing is as follows (looking at the 3-month subscription option):
-iView HD (3 months): $49.95
-iView HD Plus (3 months): $79.95
Family package for iView HD Plus subscription service, multiroom deals. multi-devices support. you can buy as max 3 devices

Honestly, regardless of which package you choose, iView HD is a steal compared to any live cable provider.
